On the afternoon of 1st April, Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai – a member of The Provincial Standing Committee, and Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, has chaired a meeting with the delegates of Khanh Hoa Province and the other related units on the deployment of the 6th National Children’s Festival.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai and the other delegations ratified the program plans for organizing the festival. Accordingly, the 2016 National Children is expected to begin on 28th June and close on 1st July in Nha Trang.
This Festival will attract the participation of 65 Children’s Activity Centers and Children’s Houses of the city and provinces, with around 3000 – 3500 children and their teachers.
During the Festival, there are a lot of activities that will take place including a parade at the 2/4 Square (Nha Trang), a huge artistic drawing of the children, an attempt to set a new record with a “flash mob” with the largest number of child participants ever, along with performing arts and sporting activities such as badminton and table tennis.
In addition, there are many other art & cultural activities organized to celebrate the youth of Nha Trang, and to promote the beauty of the city. If you have some free time, be sure to bring your children down to Tran Phu for the opening ceremony on June 28th.
