CHAMPARAMA – THE REVIVAL OF A SLEEPING MERMAID

More than ten years after falling into disrepair caused by an illegal scandal, Rusalka – the abandoned luxury resort in Nha Trang – is finally being revived after receiving its new investment certificate from Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Breathing new life into this abandoned kingdom after years of legal chaos, Nguyen Duc Chi, the founder of Rusalka, has decided to relaunch the project under a new name – Champarama.

Although a large number  of new  resorts have sprung up in Nha Trang in recent years, and the business opportunities are not as great as when Rusalka was started in 2005, Champarama promises to be a phenomenal luxury Resort & Spa with other additional components including sport & golfing facilities, an International Convention Center and a Restaurant.

Eight years of delay have left this site idle as a remnant of failed investment proposals in the region, however, after positive actions from both the investor and government, the construction phases are expected to move forward quickly. When completed, Champarama aims to add another high-end location to Khanh Hoa’s tourism sector.
