Certainly not as well-known as the famous ‘love bridges’ in Paris or Da Nang, the wooden jetty in Tan Duc Fishing Village (60 Km from Nha Trang) has vied for the attention of many couples for years. It is now famed as the place where lovestruck couples go to cement their devotion to each other. No padlocks, no silk ribbons: the only signs are handwritten messages left by visitors on every corner of the bridge.

Built by a pearl company because the shallow water of this area restricted the movement of their transport boats this wooden jetty also is known by the locals as Cau Ngoc Trai (Pearl Bridge) or Cau Tinh Yeu (Love Bridge).   

Constructed from 696 separate pieces of wood, this 300 meter bridge  tells the stories  of many different strangers, unknown to each other, but connected by the trip they have taken to the bridge to preserve their love in pen on wood.

Located right behind the pearl company (3km from Van Gia Town), it is very easy to reach this bridge; just follow a small path on the left side of the building, park your motorbike at the small yard of a local family, pay the 5000 VND parking fee, and create your own love story at this special wooden jetty.
