Blood Donation Day at Novotel Nha Trang

Nha Trang, April 4th 2017

The first Blood Donation Day of the year took place at Novotel Nha Trang, featuring participants from 16 hotels and selected business from Nha Trang.

This quarterly event has been going on for 4 years now, being organized by Visit Nha Trang (Nha Trang Destination Marketing Organization), in conjunction with the Red Cross Vietnam. Yesterday, thanks to the contributions of the donors, 236 units of blood were given that will be used to save lives.

“Each member of NTDMO has a chance to host the quarterly blood donation day. We call on our employees and guests to participate in this meaningful activity and help to increase the amount of storage for the local Central Blood Bank”, explained Remi Faubel, General Manager of Novotel Nha Trang.

The participants underwent a standard blood health test with Red Cross doctors before donating their blood. After the event, all the donations went to the Blood bank of the Central Hospital of Khanh Hoa. Blood donations are constantly needed, especially for people with rare blood types.
