California Fitness & Yoga Grand Opening

Last night, in what was a glitzy and glamorous event filled with celebrities, Discover Nha Trang was delighted to attend California Fitness & Yoga’s official Grand Opening Party at Lunar Lounge. It has become the company’s 25th gym location in Vietnam.

With a huge attendance of approximately 600 people, California Fitness & Yoga spared no expense in showcasing its ultra-modern and high-tech gym to those present. Conveniently located on Tran Phu, in the heart of the city, the gym facilities are set on an area of over 2500 square meters and boasts the most modern and advanced gym and fitness center in Nha Trang.

The evening was co-hosted by Lunar Lounge, which was also launching its newly revamped lounge bar, perched on the 4th floor of Nha Trang Center. With swimming pools, ocean views and a fantastic food and cocktail menu, it aims to become the city’s premier rooftop hideaway.

The event began with a red carpet entrance and a buffet of delicious finger food and drinks, with the trendy citizens of Nha Trang lining up to be photographed with famous Vietnamese models like Ms Vietnam – Ky Duyen, catwalk queens – Xuan Lan & Mau Thuy, and a host of other celebrities including Truong Quynh Anh.

Guests were then treated to the opening presentation by Founder & CEO, Randy Dobson, who highlighted the company’s enthusiasm in coming to Nha Trang to provide the city with premium health and fitness facilities.

“When I first arrived in this beautiful coastal city, I dreamed of a magnificent club, with a view overlooking the beach and bay. Nha Trang is a beautiful city with a gorgeous coastline, is full of friendly people, and is a world class destination in Vietnam. The company was keen to promote its lifetime Centuryon Gym Membership program; the creme da la creme of Gym & fitness subscriptions.

MC for the night was the beautiful Thuy Van , who introduced the evening’s entertainment. First up was a spectacular music show with special guest appearances from famous singers such as Vu Cat Tuong, Bao Thy, Ho Vinh Khoa, and the famous singer-dancer, Dong Nhi, who wowed the crowd with electrifying singing and dancing. The event closed with an ultra-chic fashion show, with some of Vietnam’s most beautiful models including Le Thanh Hoa, parading on the catwalk to display the new items from the ‘Cali Cool Collection’ fashion brand.

The after-party then moved to Skylight 360: Skydeck & Rooftop Beach Club where the festivities continued late into the night.
