Jetstar Pacific Airlineshas just launched a new route that connects Nha Trang to the ancient capital Hue.
The low-cost carrier will begin by operating 2 return flights each week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, after travel statistics revealed an economic and tourism need for the service. A spokesperson for the company has said that it plans to increase the number of flights if demand for the route increases.
Over a million foreign tourists visit Hue every year, and by implementing direct flight to Cam Ranh Airport, it is hoped that there will be an increase in direct visits to Khanh Hoa Province. In November last year, the airline added three new domestic routes, connecting HCM City with Da Lat, Vinh in the central province of Nghe An to Cam Ranh, and Ha Noi with Tuy Hoa in Phu Yen.
